Fifteen people have been killed – in what police characterize as four or possibly five simultaneous gang wars – in the last two months. Events are escalating. A major leader of a criminal syndicate was assassinated outside of his home a few days ago. "An article by Ned Jacobs in The Tyee describes how the proposed 255,500 square-foot Canadian Tire on Ontario and SW Marine Drive goes against Mayor Sullivan's self-named eco-density initiative. If the mayor is going to eat his own dog food, then he should not be giving the green light to any big-box retail stores.
