		When Cumberland developed an official community plan two years ago, it was hailed as a democratic masterpiece. The document spelled out a vision for the town’s future planning, and everyone, from the bartenders to the city councillors, had their say. Then a big-city developer rolled into town. Suddenly the plan looked a whole lot different – and residents got a whole lot angrier		&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

		It’s time to rethink our green zone. 

Two factors are clearly emerging as potential brakes on continued prosperity and economic growth in Greater Vancouver. The first is the worsening crisis in housing affordability and the second is the increasing difficulty in locating appropriately situated land for industrial use. 		&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
